One+Prosthetics - 3d printed functional prosthetics

Academic project at nus - division of industrial design (2013)

Regional Finalist for the James Dyson Award 2014

With the use of 3D technology, this project seeks to re-invent the relatively stagnant field of ‘passive cosmetic prostheses’ by increasing the efficiency of the laborious traditional making process, lowering the costs to make it affordable for the masses and adopting natural hand gestures to lock the prosthetic finger in specific positions.
